New Elite Villain Sector & Hero Changes in Update 2.6

This week we rolled out Update 2.6 that included a new Elite Villain Sector ‘No Rest for the Wicked’ and a suite of Hero updates designed to make each Avenger on our roster feel even more heroic to play. Full Patch Notes are available HERE.

Weekly Updates

• The world’s greatest assassin is always training. From now until 9/29, enjoy Triple XP when playing as Black Widow.
• “Nothing lasts forever.” Except for bonus Unit rewards, that is! Starting today, we’ve permanently increased bonus Unit rewards for the following missions, giving you more opportunities to earn your Shipments (and the bonuses below are in addition to existing Unit rewards):    
  • Drop Zones: +125 Units
  • Threat Sectors: +250 Units
  • Priority Missions: +250 Units
  • Villain Sectors: +250 Units
  • Vault Missions: +250 Units
  • Rise and Shine Daily: +500 Units
• Flashback Rewards Cache is active! Completing Flashback Missions until 9/29 earns you bonus rewards, including:    
  • Legendary Gear (Hero Set B)
  • +100 Fragments
  • +10 Upgrade Modules
• The Red Room Takeover event continues! Find out who is behind the HARM Room’s corruption and earn Legendary and Exotic gear in the process, through 9/29. These Superior Rewards allow you to increase your Power Level beyond 150!
• Players who log in before 10/1 will immediately receive a bundle of MCU-inspired Outfits, in celebration of our 2nd Anniversary! The bundle includes:    
  • Iron Man’s Outfit inspired by Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 2
  • Thor’s Outfit inspired by Marvel Studios’ Thor
  • Captain America’s Outfit inspired by Marvel Studios’ ‘The Avengers’
  • One 7-Day Hero’s Catalyst
  • One 7-Day Fragment Extractor
• And speaking of, don’t forget to claim your free item in the Marketplace this week: a 2 hr. Fragment Extractor that gives you double the Fragments! (Perfect for gearing up your favorite Hero to take on Monica in our new Elite Villain Sector!)
• Kate Bishop’s ‘Stark Tech’ Outfit remains the Shipments Specialty Item through 9/29. There’s only one week left to earn it, and it’s guaranteed on your 100th claim.

Marketplace Updates

If you see her, it’s already too late. Black Widow’s ‘Hooded’ Outfit launches today in the Marketplace, inspired by one of her more recent comic suits seen in “Black Widow #5” (2020). The Marketplace will also feature Black Widow’s ‘Hooded’ Bundle that includes her new Outfit, and a variety of Takedowns and Nameplates, and a Legendary Emote.

Black Widow is also our featured Hero in the Marketplace this week! Enjoy 50% off non-MCU Outfits, Takedowns, Emotes, and Nameplates until 9/29 (excluding the new ‘Hooded’ Outfit).

The Marketplace is a place for us to feature purchasable cosmetics in the form of Outfits, Emotes, Takedowns, and Nameplates. The Marketplace’s Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary items rotate weekly, and can be purchased with Credits.
